Gather & Gather Ireland leading the discussion on the Changing Landscape of Irish Food at Food On The Edge 2019 symposium.

Mark Anderson, Culinary Director at Gather & Gather Ireland, lead the inspirational Food on the Edge 2019 Ambassador Panel conversation. The discussion entitled “Moving Food on the Edge Forward Into New Realms” explored the future of Irish food, the Ambassadors’ inspirations and how they are working to change the perception of the food industry.

The Gather & Gather team also delivered memorable lunch experiences for speakers and delegates across both days of Food On The Edge. The menus on offer showcased their uplifting approach to food; creating healthy, well thought-out, balanced, restaurant-quality dishes with a focus on sustainable ingredients that celebrate local and seasonal produce.


The Gather & Gather Ireland team take part in the Big Grill Festival. This festival celebrates the art of cooking with fire & smoke bringing chefs cooks and pitmasters from Ireland, UK and further along with over 20,000 visitors to smell, taste, discover and learn about all kinds of barbecuing, grilling, smoking, vegetables, meats, delicacies and drinks.

Over 20 restaurants join for the weekend, with the only rule being they must cook with live fire using natural charcoal and wood only; no gas or electricity.
