RAMAEL SCULLY

Scully moved to Britain in 2004 and soon began working with the Ottolenghi team at the outpost in Islington. He moved to NOPI as Head Chef when the restaurant opened in 2011 and remained at the helm until last year. After years of cooking side by side with Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi – sharing recipes, experiences and above all friendship – this opening, supported by the Ottolenghi family, is one step further in their collaborative relationship.

Scully’s passionate, creative and transnational approach to food and cooking is reflective of his Chinese, Indian, Balinese and Irish descent, which along with his mother’s influence, has encouraged a breadth of knowledge in combining ingredients and blending global flavours.
